Hi friends! Glad to see u (you know what I mean he-he). I´m currently sitting on my porch in my little villa, looking out on the waves of the ocean here in beautiful Bali. So, I’m back here to give you some helpful tips on where to visit, what to do and what to eat (and what to avoid) on your next trip to Bali. As a Norwegian citizen, it cost a lot to fly down, but once you’re there it’s perfect to stay here for a bit if you got the opportunity to so.
Ok, so I hope you are ready for a little Bali diary/guide from me. I´ve been here many times the past years, and so I know what to do- and not. This time I´ll tip you on an affordable trip. If you´re like me and love to take a dip in the ocean, but also find the trill in driving off into the jungle on a four-wheeler, I´ve got your back!
- When to visit Bali: I would highly recommend booking your trip between May-September. In this way you´ll avoid the “winter” or in other words the rainy season. If you are flexible like me, try to stay away from flying out in the middle of the joint holiday.
- Where to go: There is a lot of options for places to visit here. Ubud is a beautiful place where you can do lots of activities and exploring nature combined with full relaxation. I would recommend: 1. going to the Tengalalang rice fields 2. visit the monkey forest 3. explore a spa near by
- Where to eat: First of all.. try 7 eleven for the snacks. It’s so different from where I’m from. They have so much stuff there! I would also highly recommend the Nautilus Seafood Restaurant & Bar for an exotic experience.
